The system disclosed by the invention can be used for implementing the method disclosed by the invention. By using the system and method disclosed by the invention, a user can respectively carry out font layer, shadow layer and border layer effect parameter setting on the input character according to the demands of the user, then, the system carries out corresponding processing on the character according to the effect parameters so as to convert the character into an effect required by the user; and according to the technical scheme of the invention, word stocks and special effects bound with an operating system are not required to be used, therefore, the system and method disclosed by the invention can be subjected to cross-platform applications.
