The plunger tool comprises a plunger refloating head, a plunger main body, an instrument working cylinder assembly, a feeding assembly and a refloating assembly, wherein the plunger refloating head is located at the top of the plunger tool; the upper end of the plunger main body is connected with the plunger refloating head; the instrument working cylinder assembly is located at the tail part of the plunger tool in a detachably manner; and one of the feeding assembly and the refloating assembly is connected between the plunger main body and the instrument working cylinder assembly so as to execute a feeding or refloating task of the instrument working cylinder assembly in a matching manner. According to the invention, the plunger tool is used as a carrier tool to carry an underground instrument, and the purpose of feeding and refloating the instrument is achieved by making the plunger tool do a round trip between a downhole and a wellhead.
