Abstract

A wire cover 20 for a lever connector or similar device includes a separate cover body 21 with a hood portion 25 which is thicker at its base 25a on a side of the cover body than at its tip 25b away from the cover body. This is to prevent deformation or damage of the hood portion. In an inner peripheral surface of the base 25a, a plurality of lightening recesses 51 can be formed which are continuously arranged in a curving direction (circumferential direction) of the hood portion 25, and thus a rib 52 can be formed between the lightening recesses adjacent to each other. The hood portion has a wire draw-out exit 24 that may route wires obliquely away from the device and to which the wires may be connected by a strap-like member.
