Embodiment 1

[0103] Using Liquid Crystalline Resin 1 as the molding material, paste Heat Insulation Layer Forming Material 1 on the cavity surface of a flat plate molding mold with a width of 20 mm x length 50 mm x thickness 0.5 mm. Molding conditions such as injection speed and mold temperature in Table 1 Molding is carried out to obtain injection molded products. In addition, conditions other than the molding conditions shown in the table are as follows.

[0104] [Molding conditions]

[0105] Cylinder set temperature: 350°C

[0106] Screw speed: 150rpm

Embodiment 2

[0108] Using liquid crystalline resin 1 as the molding material, spray heat-insulating layer forming material 2 on the cavity surface of a 40mm x 1mm flat plate molding mold, bake at 250°C for 1 hour, and then grind the polyimide surface, adjusted to the thickness of the heat insulating layer in Table 1, and then molded at the injection speed and mold temperature in Table 1 to obtain injection molded products. In addition, molding conditions other than those shown in Table 1 are the same as in Example 1.

Embodiment 3

[0110] Injection molded articles were manufactured in the same manner as in Example 2 except that the molding conditions were changed to those shown in Table 1. In addition, molding conditions other than those shown in Table 1 are the same as in Example 1.

Abstract

Disclosed is a molding technique, which is for obtaining a molded article having an excellent appearance, and which suppresses fibrillization of the surface of the injection-molded article even if the liquid-crystal resin composition is ultrasonically cleaned. Specifically, disclosed is a molding technique which can be performed even under the condition that the mold temperature is no greater than 100 C. During injection molding of a liquid-crystal resin composition, when a mold with an thermal insulation layer formed on the inner surface of the mold is used, with the thickness of the thermal insulation layer being t1 ([mu]m), the injection speed being S (mm / sec), the thickness of the injection-molded article being t2 (mm), and the die temperature being T ( C), injection molding is performed under molding conditions that fulfill a particular relationship. Preferably, molding is performed with a mold temperature that is no greater than 100 C.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for producing an injection-molded article using a liquid crystalline resin composition. Background technique [0002] A class of plastics known as engineering plastics has high strength and is increasingly replacing metal parts. Among them, a type of plastic called liquid crystal resin can be melted while maintaining a crystal structure. High strength based on this crystal structure is one of the characteristics of liquid crystalline resins. Furthermore, the crystal structure of liquid crystalline resin does not change much when solidified, so the volume change between melting and solidifying is small. As a result, among liquid crystalline resins, there is an advantage that molding shrinkage is small and the dimensional accuracy of molded products is excellent. [0003] Taking advantage of such advantages as high strength and excellent dimensional accuracy as described above, the liquid crystalline resin com...
