Problems solved by technology

Therefore, the 1U server has become a key application model, but the space of the 1U server limits the size of the cooling fan. The fan generally uses a 40mm×40mm fan, and the efficiency of a small fan is much lower than that of a large fan, resulting in a huge waste of energy consumption.

Embodiment

[0018] In a typical configuration environment, we can use 20 1U Gemini nodes as an independent air duct, occupying a 10U space, and install nine 120mm*38mm fans in the corresponding 10U space on the rear fan wall, and then apply the independent air duct The channel structure closes the area between the node frame and the fan wall, thus forming a small-scale overall cooling air channel, these nine fans provide air flow for 20 nodes, and each node must be equipped with at least 3 or more 40mm*56mm fan.

[0019] Compared with the traditional cabinet heat dissipation architecture, this new architecture has low cost, low energy consumption, high redundancy, and high reliability.

[0020] The low-cost implementation is described as follows: using nine 120×38 fans will save at least 60% of the cost compared to sixty 40×56 fans.

[0021] The implementation of low power consumption is as follows: the maximum power consumption of 9 120×38 fans will be about 50% of that of 60 40×56 fans...

Abstract

The invention relates to a design method of an integrated cabinet radiating system. The design method comprises the following steps of: (1) additionally arranging a heat-insulation layer outside an integrated server cabinet, arranging a heat-insulation clapboard in the integrated server cabinet to partition the interior of the integrated server cabinet into a plurality of corridor-type heat-radiating passages, arranging a server device in a node fixing frame of each heat-radiating passage, arranging a node similarly meeting heat-radiating requirements in a frame, arranging a fan at one part of each heat-radiating passage to partition the heat-radiating passages, arranging a large heat-radiating fan on a fan wall, and dismantling self-attached small heat-radiating fans in each server device; (2) arranging different-power heat-radiating fans in heat-radiating air ducts according to different heat-radiating requirements of the server devices so as to reduce energy waste; and (3) arranging a hard disk storage device of a server at an air inlet of each heat-radiating passage so as to be far away from the fans to reduce influence of the vibration of the fans on a hard disk.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of heat dissipation of a server cabinet system, in particular to a centralized heat dissipation method for a cabinet. Background technique [0002] The rapid development of the Internet has resulted in explosive growth of information resources. People use the Internet as a media, and their demand for information is also increasing. Various large-scale data computer rooms have also emerged as the times require. The number of individuals—servers and storage cabinets—that make up a data center is also increasing. As the amount of information increases, more cabinets cannot be deployed in the original computer room. Therefore, compressing the space occupied by a single CPU and deploying more CPUs has become a development trend. Therefore, the 1U server has become a key application model, but the space of the 1U server limits the size of the cooling fan. The fan generally uses a 40mm×40mm fan, and the efficiency of a sm...
