Abstract

The invention provides a method for judging the aging degree of an umbrella skirt of a composite insulator, which aims to solve the problem of low accuracy of the method for judging the aging degree of the umbrella skirt of the composite insulator in the prior art. The method comprises the following steps of: sampling an umbrella skirt sample at different positions to obtain slices; performing a thermally stimulated current (TSC) test on the slices respectively; calculating trapped electric charge quantity and trap levels of the slices through a TSC curve obtained by the test; and judging the aging degree of the umbrella skirt sample according to the trapped electric charge quantity and the trap levels of the slices. Due to the adoption of the technical scheme, the aging characteristics of the umbrella skirt can be estimated from the perspective of microcosmic electrical characteristics by directly measuring the characteristics of traps inside an umbrella skirt material of the composite insulator, and a basis is provided for on-site operation and maintenance of the composite insulator of an electric power system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of high-voltage composite insulators, in particular to a method for judging the aging of sheds of composite insulators. Background technique [0002] Composite insulators have been widely used in power systems because of their small size, light weight, good pollution resistance, high dielectric strength, and low maintenance costs. However, as the running time increases, the composite insulator shed material will inevitably age. The main factors of aging include surface discharge (corona discharge and arc discharge), humidity, ultraviolet rays, temperature and pollution. The aging of the shed leads to the degradation of the function and performance of the composite insulator, and even causes the failure of the high-voltage line in severe cases. One of the main manifestations of composite insulator aging is the loss of its surface hydrophobicity. [0003] At present, the main method for judging the aging degree of sh...
