The present invention relates to a portable device for alleviating menstrual pain through transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) and thermal stimulation. More particularly, the present invention relates to a portable device for alleviating menstrual pain by applying transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation to the abdominal and back area of a user through the use of a planar heart embedded in the stimulating electrode pad. The stimulating electrode pad is a patch type one which is attachable / detachable to / from any body part with menstrual pain. The laser hair-loss treatment device of the present invention comprises a cap provided in such a way as to cover the head of the user and comprises a laser assembly which is provided on the inside of the cap and which receives power and irradiates laser light under control by means of a controller. This hair-loss treatment device further comprises: a resilient pad attached to the inside of the cap; a circuit substrate which is attached to one surface of the resilient pad and which is provided with a heat-emitting body for receiving electrical power and emitting heat; vibrating motors which are provided electrically connected to the circuit substrate, and which are respectively provided in positions where they do not positionally interfere with the heat-emitting body, and which also generate vibrations upon receipt of an electrical power-source supply; and laser assemblies which are provided on one side of the vibrating motors, are electrically connected to the circuit substrate, and one end of each of which is attached to the scalp of the user by being provided passing through and projecting from assembly holes formed in the resilient pads. The laser hair-loss treatment device according to the present invention is beneficial in that it can activate hair-root cells in a complex fashion through thermal stimulation using a heat-emitting element and physical stimulation using a vibrational element and optical-pulse stimulation for a laser diode on the scalp of the wearer, and thereby promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. Additionally, the present invention is advantageous in that it can provide enhanced working efficiency in disassembly and assembly since the laser-diode assembly has a straightforward construction, and in that it can multiply laser and drug penetration since the laser irradiation and vibration are transmitted in a state in which the lens and lens cap are attached to the scalp.

At least one resilient element connected between the heat sink and the fan is also provided, for supporting the fan so as to prevent direct contact between the heat sink and the fan. Various apparatus for CMP processing of workpieces are provided. In one aspect, a CMP tool is provided that includes a polish pad for polishing a workpiece and a head assembly for holding the workpiece during polishing. A fluid dispenser is also provided for dispensing a fluid to process the workpiece. The fluid dispenser has a housing and a tube coupled to the housing for dispensing a semiconductor processing fluid. The tube has a first end that is operable to move from a first elevation to a second elevation. A first shape memory member is provided that has a first end coupled to the housing and a second end coupled to the tube. The shape memory member is operable to deform in response to a thermal stimulation to selectively move the tube from the first elevation to the second elevation. The tool provides selective dispersal of processing fluids on a CMP polish pad or other processing surface is before, during and after CMP or other processes. The shape memory member actuator is simple in design and capable of hundreds of thousands or even millions of cycles. Slurry stagnation at pad edge is avoided since reliance on centrifligal force for horizontal fluid movement is reduced. Savings may be realized in both prewet time and slurry consumption.
