Abstract

The invention discloses a radio resource management measurement method and a system in long term evolution based on coordinated multiple points. The method comprises the following steps that: a base station configures a concentrated point of radio resource management (RRM) measurement for a terminal and resource information of a channel state indication and reference signal (CSI-RS) used by the RRM measurement; and the terminal measures reference signal received power (RSRP) of the CSI-RS according to the concentrated point of RRM measurement for the CSI-RS information and reports a measurement result. The concentrated point of RRM measurement is configured by employing the base station, and the RRM measurement can be optimized.
