Abstract

The invention provides a dynamic updating method of a covariance matrix in cooperative multipoint joint transmission by taking a typical self-adaption codebook method as a basis to reoptimize a design. An equivalent system between the covariance matrix and a codebook is utilized; based on a mean square error minimum principle, and at a receiving end, the corresponding codebook and one parameter are utilized to simulate a difference value between a covariance matrix at the current moment and a covariance matrix at the last moment; and meanwhile, an index and a corresponding parameter of the codebook are fed back to an emission end. At the emission end, the corresponding codebook is searched according to an index number and the covariance matrix at the current moment is reconstructed by utilizing the feedback parameter and the covariance matrix (or an estimated value) at the last moment, so as to realize a dynamic updating process of the covariance matrix.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention relates to an optimal design method of a wireless communication system, in particular to a method for dynamically updating the channel covariance matrix of an adaptive codebook in joint multi-point transmission. Background technique: [0002] A typical adaptive codebook technology is based on implicitly fed back PMI information, making full use of the correlation between antennas, such as using the channel covariance matrix as auxiliary information to realize the original fixed codebook such as LTE Release 8 or 802.16m The codebook rotates adaptively to the channel environment and performs long-term feedback to obtain a better compromise between system performance and feedback overhead with less additional feedback overhead. The feedback interval of typical adaptive codebook technology is generally relatively large, such as 20ms or independently selected according to channel changes. Its biggest feature is that it uses a large feedback i...
