Abstract

The correct steering angle of motor vehicle (1) is determined, based on parameters which describe the current behavior of vehicle and the predetermined target behavior for stationary vehicle. By using the corrected steering angle, the lateral acceleration and curvature radius of corrected steering angle of vehicle are determined. The lateral acceleration and curve radius of corrected steering angle are converted into a quantity dependent on the steering angle and correct steering angle longitudinal velocity, to form control function, using mathematical mapping process.
