Abstract

The invention provides a system and a method for signal analysis. The system for signal analysis comprises a band pass filter, a sampling unit and a continuous shifted transforming unit. The band pass filter performs filtering on an input signal to obtain a filtered signal. The sampling unit performs sampling on the filtered signal according to a sampling frequency to obtain a discrete signal. The continuous shifted transforming unit obtains a first frequency spectrum according to continuously sampled N discrete signals, and obtains a second frequency spectrum according to an (N+1)th discrete signal and the first frequency spectrum. Each of the first frequency spectrum and the second frequency spectrum comprise N Fourier transform results.
