Abstract

The method comprises the steps of detecting output current of a power module in real time, comparing the output current and a set first threshold value, adopting a preset first time interval to sequentially perform the electrification to each hard disk in the hard disk array when the output current is smaller than the set first threshold value, comparing the output current with a set second threshold value when the output current is larger than the set first threshold value, and adopting a preset second time interval to sequentially perform the electrification to each hard disk when the output current is larger than or equal to the first threshold value and smaller than the second threshold value, wherein the second threshold value is larger than the first threshold value, and the second time interval is larger than the first time interval. By means of the method and the system for controlling the hard disk electrification in the hard disk array, electrification impact current is controlled not to exceed power output limitation when the electrification is performed to the hard disk array, and electrification time of the whole hard disk array is short.
