Problems solved by technology

The success rate of soft handover is high, but the resource utilization rate is low
Since the LTE system completely abandons the CDMA technology and adopts the OFDM technology, soft handover can no longer be used in the LTE system; because the handover time between mobile relays, especially high-speed mobile relays, is very short, and the existing hard handover technology The reliability of switching cannot be guaranteed

Embodiment Construction

[0030] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0031] Such as figure 2In the mobile relay application scenario shown, 7 cells are identified by identifiers 1 to 7, and each cell has its own eNode B. The bus equipped with a mobile relay is currently under the service of cell 1, and the direction of movement can be to any cell, and it is assumed to move to cell 4 here.

[0032] The mobile relay includes MR_UE unit and MR_eNode B unit, and MR_UE unit includes MR_UE1 subunit and MR_UE2 subunit. Both MR_UE1 and MR_UE2 are used for data communication between the relay and eNode B. Among them, MR_UE1 is also responsible for measuring the channel quality status of the mobile relay and the neighboring cell eNode B, and reporting information such as the UE group subordinate to the mobile relay to the eNode...

Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for switching a long term evolution (LTE)-advanced mobile relay (MR) and an eNode B. The system comprises a timing measurement module, a switching policy module, a reliable switching module and a group switching module, wherein the timing measurement module measures the channel quality of a current eNode B cell and a neighbor eNode B cell at fixed time; the switching policy module is used for judging whether a source eNode B is required to be switched and determining a target eNode B which is switched from the source eNode B; the reliable switching module is used for switching a relay from the source eNode B to the target eNode B; during switching of the MR, an MR_user equipment (UE) 1 establishes synchronization with the target eNode B, applies for resource reservation, establishes connection with the target eNode B at fixed time, and then forwards information which is required by establishment of connection between the MR_UE1 and the target eNode B to an MR_UE2; after receiving related information, the MR_UE2 is immediately disconnected from the source eNode B and quickly switched into the target eNode B; and by using the group switching module, an MR_eNode B unit re-allocates resources which are required by accepted UE and reports a result to a mobility management entity (MME), and the MR_eNode B unit allocates the resources which are provided by the target eNode B to the UE which is accepted by the MR, and reports an allocation result to the MME through the MR_UE1.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of mobile communication, and in particular relates to a handover system and method between an LTE-Advanced mobile relay and an eNode B. Background technique [0002] LTE-Advanced is an evolved version of LTE, which requires a peak downlink rate of 1Gbps and an uplink rate of 500Mbps under a bandwidth of 100MHz. Since LTE-Advanced uses relatively high frequency band resources, problems such as smaller cell coverage and severe attenuation loss occur. If the above-mentioned problems are solved simply by increasing the density of base stations, it will increase the cost and increase the difficulty of deployment for operators. For this reason, 3GPP has introduced relay (relay) technology in LTE-A. After the introduction of the relay node (RN, relay node), the direct link (Direct Link) is replaced by the Backhaul Link (Backhaul Link) and the Access Link (Access Link) between the User Equipment (UE) and the Link...
