Problems solved by technology

In the past, in the establishment of experimental animal models, noise stimuli were often carried out outdoors, such as the sound of aircraft engines, shock waves when artillery was fired, and firecrackers. Timely detection, time-consuming, expensive experiments
However, due to the current application of signal generators in the medical field is not extensive and in-depth, the signal output power is not large enough, the stability is not ideal, the signal acquisition, analysis and quantification is not in place; the function integration is not perfect, not reasonable enough, etc.
These problems limit the wide application of signal generators in the medical field and reduce the scientificity and reliability of clinical and basic science research results

Abstract

An animal noise stimulation system comprises a computer monitor, a video signal collector, an audio power amplifier, a lighting system, an audio sensor, a camera and an air renewal system. The computer monitor displays audio waveforms, audio sound intensities and videos. The video signal collector which includes a signal source software and an audio signal collector is used for collecting signals from the audio sensor and the camera and sending feedback to the computer monitor for audio and video display. The lighting system includes two visible light sources. The camera can monitor animals' behavior reactions to noises. The air renewal system can facilitate the exchange and renewal of air inside and outside a noise case. The animal noise stimulation system uses the power amplifier and the noise case to amplify the noises for simulating different noise environments to complete the establishment of the hearing-impaired animal models and uses computer for data transmitting and audio acquisition and analysis to detect the impair of noise stimulation to animal auditory physiological system for quantifying and evaluating, thereby providing experimental data for the prevention and treatment of noise-induced hearing loss.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the fields of scientific research on experimental animals, detection and screening of sound-insulating and sound-absorbing materials, signal generation and audio collection and analysis technology, and is especially suitable for the establishment of various noise-induced hearing loss animal models and acoustic stimulation models, and the behavior of experimental animals under noise exposure. Monitoring, as well as conditioning, acquisition, analysis, quantification and evaluation of output signals. Background technique [0002] In the clinical and basic research of noise-induced deafness, animal experiments are required. After the auditory electrophysiological evaluation of the subjects such as: adult guinea pigs, adult rats, adult mice, and young rats, etc., according to different experimental purposes Different acoustic stimuli are used (acoustic signals need to be quantified and evaluated), and then quantitative and qualitat...
