Abstract

The invention discloses a system for requesting to access zero-copy Cache. The system for requesting to accessing the zero-copy Cache comprises a creation module, a queue module, an identification module, a space distribution module and a writing module, wherein the creation module is used for creating a request data structure for each request of Cache access. The request data structure comprises an address which is used for recording a Cache area needed to be accessed by a corresponding access request, the queue module is used for placing the request data structure into a request queue according to a request sequence, the identification module is used for identifying whether the Cache area which needs to be accessed by the corresponding access request is occupied according to each request data structure in the request queue, the space distribution module is used for distributing temporary storage space to a writing request when the situation that a Cache area which needs to be accessed by the writing request is occupied is identified, and the writing module is used for writing corresponding data of the writing request into the temporary storage space and writing data in the temporary storage space into the Cache area when the occupied Cache area is released. A method and the system for requesting to accessing the zero-copy Cache are capable of improving access efficiency of requests.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a memory usage technology for a high-speed cache (Cache), in particular to a memory usage method for a zero-copy (Zero copy) Cache. Background technique [0002] Cache (high-speed cache) is an important part of a computer system, and it widely exists in central processing units (CPUs), disk controllers, bus adapters and other components. Cache is essentially a concept, a kind of logic, which can exist in the form of hardware and play a role with the cooperation of hardware. [0003] The core function of the Cache is to speed up the response speed of the target component to external access. For the storage system, the significance of the Cache is mainly to improve the access speed of the disk system. The function of Cache is mainly divided into two aspects, namely, serving read requests and writing requests. For write requests, the role of Cache is to temporarily store the data to be written in high-speed devices (memory), so ...
