Abstract

The steps include: (1) receiving a to-be-applied domain name for registration and inquiring through a WHOIS client-side to confirm whether the domain name is occupied; (2) separating letters and figures in the unoccupied domain name to obtain an alphabetic string and a numeric string of the domain name, wherein the alphabetic string comprises Chinese or English; (3) confirming whether the domain name is a non-sensitive domain name by comparing the numeric string of the domain name with a sensitive numeric string bank; and (5) submitting the non-sensitive examination-free domain name to a registration end to register. The domain name registration method based on automatic audit calculates the examination-free possibility of the to-be-examined domain name by creating an examination-free name bank and a sensitive name bank in a dynamic mode, and in a method of similarity.
