Abstract

The invention relates to an electronic device capable of enhancing antenna signal strength and an operation method of the electronic device. The electronic device comprises a casing, an antenna and a metal sheet. The antenna is arranged on the casing; and the metal sheet is detachably arranged on the casing. When the metal sheet is detached from the casing, the metal sheet can be bent to be a curved surface; the casing can move relatively to the metal sheet to form a preset distance between the antenna and the peak of the curved surface so as to enhance the antenna signal strength through the curved surface. When a user is in environment where the electronic device can not receive signals from a base station (such as in remote mountains), the antenna signal strength can be enhanced by the aid of the curved surface formed from the metal sheet, and further the possibility that the antenna of the electronic device receives signals from a nearby base station is increased.
