Abstract

The clamping conveying device of the edge milling machine for the large ship comprises a driving trolley, an upper clamp and a lower clamp; hinged ends of the upper clamp and the lower clamp are fixed on the driving trolley; the lower clamp is supported at a required height through a supporting rod; a hydraulic cylinder which is arranged in the middle of the lower clamp is connected with a supporting base of the upper clamp through a route limiting device; and the hydraulic cylinder provides power to enable jaws of the upper clamp and the lower clamp to open and close. The clamping conveying device of the edge milling machine for the large ship has the advantages of adjusting the opening sizes of the jaws according to the thickness of a machined workpiece and clamping a machined workpiece due to the power provided by the hydraulic cylinder; satisfying a height adjustment requirement of the lower clamp by arranging a sliding pair inside the supporting rod; and guaranteeing that chains not falling off and stable conveying of a conveyed workpiece due to the fact that gear chains of the driving trolley are arranged in a regular triangle shape.
