Abstract

The invention provides a load detection system for a muck truck, which is used for detecting the load condition of a truck bed of the muck truck. The load detection system for the muck truck comprises a material sensing unit, a displacement sensing unit and a controller; the material sensing unit is arranged on the lateral surface of the truck bed and comprises at least one material sensor; the material sensor is used for sending a cone transmitted signal to detect the height of materials in the truck bed in a wide angle range; the displacement sensing unit is arranged at the lower part of the truck bed and comprises at least one displacement sensor; the displacement sensor is used for sending a cylindrical transmitted signal to detect displacement change of the truck bed; the controller is electrically connected with the material sensing unit and the displacement sensing unit; and the controller is used for receiving the detecting signals sent by the material sensing unit and the displacement sensing unit, comparing intensities of the two detecting signals and carrying out analysis processing to obtain a detection result. The invention adopts the novel non-contact and non-direct-stress load detection system which can detect the load condition in real time and obtain the accurate load detection result.
