Abstract

An electrode arrangement for an electrosurgical instrument is known, which comprises at least one electrically conductive electrode section and an electrically insulating carrier section, wherein the electrode section, like the carrier section, is produced from a ceramic material. In order to improve the mechanical and electrical properties and to simplify production, it is proposed that the green compact of the carrier section and the green compact of the electrode section be connected to one another, in particular materially, to form a single composite green compact and be sintered together.
