Embodiment Construction

[0028] exist figure 1 , an exploded representation of a first exemplary embodiment of a façade light according to the invention is shown. The façade light has a housing consisting of a lower housing part 3 and an upper housing part 4 . The lower housing part is divided into three parts A1, A2, A3. Two LED groups 1 are arranged in the lateral sections A1 and A3 respectively. The LED group 1 is formed by at least two light emitting diodes. Preferably, each LED group 1 uses three light-emitting diodes, to be precise, the colors red, green and blue; each LED group 1 can similarly use two, preferably three white light-emitting diodes.

[0029] The optical system 2 is arranged downstream of each LED group 1 in the light emitting direction. The optical system 2 produces an elliptical light distribution on the irradiated surface. With a suitable spatial arrangement within the façade light, the four LED groups 1 and all four optical systems 2 produce a wide range of light on the s...

Abstract

The invention relates to a façade lamp comprising a housing for accommodating a light-emitting device, an operating device and terminals, the façade lamp comprising a plurality of light-emitting diodes for distributing the light emitted by the light-emitting diodes A light-emitting device and a lens, wherein at least two light-emitting diodes are combined to form a plurality of LED groups (1), and each LED group is assigned a lens (2). Light emitted by the light-emitting diodes of the LED group passes through the lens, which is configured in such a way that it generates an elliptical distribution of light. According to the invention, the housing is divided into at least two parts (A1, A2), the first part (A2) has space for operating the device, and to the side, a second part (A1, A3) contains at least one LED cluster groups, and each LED group is coupled to means for dissipating heat that occurs during operation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a facade light comprising a housing for receiving light-emitting diodes and operating means. In particular, light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are now commonly used as light-emitting means whenever facade lights are to be used for presenting colored light displays on facades. Background technique [0002] WO 2005 / 024291 A2 discloses a façade lamp in which light-emitting diodes of different colors are arranged consecutively behind each other. Each individual LED is assigned an optical system. The housing is designed such that it is also suitable for cooling the light emitting diodes. [0003] A disadvantage of the known façade light is that its overall height is relatively large. Contents of the invention [0004] The object of the present invention is to develop a façade light of the type mentioned at the outset such that it can be made as small as possible. This requires a series of measures listed in the defining characterist...
