Abstract

The invention discloses a keyframe extraction method of a sequence video. The method comprises the following steps: (1) capturing the sequence video, dividing the sequence video into video frames, performing feature point extraction and matching on first n frames of images in the sequence video, and carrying out tracking on feature points; selecting two frames of images as an initial keyframe from the sequence video in terms of a base length, distribution conditions of the feature points and other constraint conditions; (2) determining a keyframe candidate set on the basis of obtaining the initial keyframe according to an image feature point matching rate; (3) further determining keyframe images from the keyframe candidate set in accordance with focal length change constraints and GRIC (Geometric Robust Information Criterion). According to the keyframe extraction method, the obtained keyframe images can be used for three-dimensional reconstruction and measurement of the sequence video and can also be applied to the compression of sequence video data and the like.
