Embodiment 1

[0070] This embodiment provides a method for user authentication and IP address allocation of a 3GPP UE accessed from a fixed network. Figure 5 It is a flow chart of user authentication and IP address assignment according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention, such as Figure 5 As shown, the process includes steps S501 to S513:

[0071] In step S501, the 3GPP UE sends an authentication protocol start (EAPoL-Start) message to the RG, and performs authentication through the 802.1X protocol. UE is an 802.1X client, and RG is an 802.1X authenticator.

[0072] Step S502 , after receiving the EAPoL Start message sent by the UE, the RG sends an authentication protocol ID request (EAP Identity Request) message to the UE to notify the UE to report the user name. Wherein, after receiving the EAP Identity Request message sent by the RG, the UE replies an authentication protocol ID response (EAP Identity Response) message to the RG, wherein the message carries the user name. Subseq...

Embodiment 2

[0085] This embodiment provides a method for user authentication and IPv4 address allocation of a 3GPP UE accessed from a fixed network. Figure 6 It is a flow chart of user authentication and IPv4 address allocation according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention, such as Figure 6 As shown, the process includes steps S601 to S612:

[0086] In step S601, the 3GPP UE sends an authentication protocol start (EAPoL-Start) message to the RG, and performs authentication through the 802.1X protocol. UE is an 802.1X client, and RG is an 802.1X authenticator.

[0087] Step S602 , after receiving the EAPoL Start message sent by the UE, the RG sends an authentication protocol ID request (EAP Identity Request) message to the UE to notify the UE to report the user name. Wherein, after receiving the EAP Identity Request message sent by the RG, the UE replies an authentication protocol ID response (EAP Identity Response) message to the RG, wherein the message carries the user name. Su...

Embodiment 3

[0100] This embodiment provides another method for user authentication and IPv4 address allocation of a 3GPP UE accessed from a fixed network. Figure 7 It is a flow chart of user authentication and IPv4 address assignment according to Embodiment 3 of the present invention, such as Figure 7 As shown, the process includes step S701 to step S713:

[0101] In step S701, the 3GPP UE sends an authentication protocol start (EAPoL-Start) message to the RG, and performs authentication through the 802.1X protocol. UE is an 802.1X client, and RG is an 802.1X authenticator.

[0102] Step S702 , after receiving the EAPoL Start message sent by the UE, the RG sends an authentication protocol ID request (EAP Identity Request) message to the UE to notify the UE to report the user name. Wherein, after receiving the EAP Identity Request message sent by the RG, the UE replies an authentication protocol ID response (EAP Identity Response) message to the RG, wherein the message carries the user...

Abstract

The invention discloses a transmission method and system of information of quality of service (QoS) and a fixed network access gateway. The method includes the following steps: in a fixed mobile convergence scene with the fixed network access gateway, the fixed network access gateway receives the information of QoS of user equipment (UE) from a packet data network gateway (PDN-GW), and sends the information of QoS of the UE to a broadband network gateway (BNG) through a fixed network authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) server. According to the transmission method and system of the information of QoS and the fixed network access gateway, the QoS strategy control problem occurring when the fixed network access gateway is led into network architecture in a relative technique is solved, and stability and processing efficiency of the system are improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the communication field, in particular, to a method and system for transmitting Quality of Service (QoS for short) information, and a fixed network access gateway. Background technique [0002] With the development of network technology and user demand for services, terminals are gradually becoming multi-mode, and can choose to access different types of access networks to carry diverse services. Since different network connections have different characteristics and transmission capabilities, it can better meet the needs of users with multiple services. Multi-mode terminals can realize seamless connection between different types of wireless access networks, for example, cellular UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System, universal mobile communication system) / EDGE (Enhanced Data Rate for GSM Evolution, enhanced data rate GSM (Global System for Mobile communication, global mobile communication system) evolution ...
