Embodiment Construction

[0034] exist figure 1 and 2 A first exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown in several views. figure 1 This embodiment is shown in longitudinal section, while in figure 2 This embodiment is shown in cross-section in FIG. The following description applies to both figures unless an explicit reference is made to a certain view.

[0035] This exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention for producing braided knots in multifilament filaments has a rotating nozzle ring 1 which is designed annularly and has a circumferential guide groove 7 . A plurality of nozzle holes 8 lead to the groove bottom of the guide groove 7 and are formed uniformly distributed on the circumference of the nozzle ring. In this exemplary embodiment, two nozzle openings 8 are contained in the nozzle ring 1 . The nozzle holes 8 extend through the nozzle ring 1 as far as the inner sliding surface 17 .

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing intertwining knots in a multifilament thread. In this case, an air-stream pulse is directed through a nozzle opening transversely onto the thread. In order to produce a continuous succession of intertwining knots, the air-stream pulse is produced periodically with an interval between the air-stream pulses. In order to be able to produce an irregular thread structure, according to the invention the interval between successive air-stream pulses is continuously changed. To this end, the apparatus according to the invention has a nozzle ring carrying the nozzle opening, said nozzle ring being coupled to a drive. The drive of the nozzle ring is assigned a control device, by way of which a rotary speed of the nozzle ring is controllable for the purpose of changing an interval between the air-stream pulses.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for producing braided knots on multi-fiber filaments according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for producing braided knots on multi-fiber filaments according to the preamble of claim 8 Device for weaving knots. Background technique [0002] Such a method and device for producing braided knots on multifilament filaments is known from DE 4140469 A1. [0003] In the production of multifilament filaments, in particular by means of the melt-spinning process, it is generally known that the individual filament strands are held together by so-called braided knots to form the filaments. This braided knot is created by subjecting the filaments to compressed air. Depending on the type of filament and the process, there can be different requirements regarding the desired number of braided knots per unit length and the stability of the braided knots. Especially in the production of carpet yarns which are used directly in...
