The fault mutual-detection method is achieved through the voltage linear isolating circuit (1), the voltage comparison circuit (2) and a comprehensive processing unit (3). The comprehensive processing unit (3) comprises an AD acquisition module (4), a level detection module (5) and a fault detection module (6). According to the fault mutual-detection method, fault mutual detection between the voltage linear isolating circuit (1) and the voltage comparison circuit (2) can be completed, detected voltage signals are isolated and collected through the voltage linear isolating circuit (1) and compared through the voltage comparison circuit (2), and then fault detection is carried out on the detected voltage signals through the comprehensive processing unit (3). Faults of the circuits can be automatically positioned through the fault mutual-detection method, and the fault mutual-detection method can be widely used in the voltage linear isolating circuits based on linear opto-couplers.
