Abstract

Disclosed is a method for determining transmit-receive isolation of a phased array antenna, the method including (1) enabling equivalence of a transmitting array and a receiving array to a multi-port microwave network, with feeding ports of transmitting and receiving array elements as ports of the multi-port network; (2) determining a transmission parameter matrix Cj, i from the i-th transmitting array element to the j-th receiving array element; (3) determining outgoing wave voltage of a corresponding port to the j-th receiving array element according to relative excitation voltage and a transmission parameter matrix of a corresponding port to the i-th transmitting array element; and (4) according to the outgoing wave voltage of the corresponding port to the j-th receiving array element, determining corresponding outgoing wave signal power, and by combination with feeding power of the transmitting array, determining the isolation from the transmitting array to the receiving array elements.
