Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless terminal MAC address acquisition method and a device. A wireless terminal is internally provided with a wireless network card with double frequency bands of 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz and is accessed to a network via WIFI. The method comprises the following steps: S1. the wireless terminal is arranged to work in a Monitor mode; S2. WIFI wireless communication data packets are periodically grabbed on each frequency channel of 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz; and S3. a 802.11 protocol frame header of each data packet is parsed, and an MAC address is extracted from a BSSID field, a Source address field and a Destination address field of the frame header. Various surrounding wireless terminals can be discovered in real time via the method so that holders of the wireless terminals can be searched without omission, and the wireless terminals can be comprehensively managed.
