Abstract

The invention discloses a clamping device which is mainly used for fixation and positioning of welding parts of an automotive body in white. The clamping device has the advantages of being simple, practical and wide in application range. The clamping device comprises a base, a guide rail, a first mechanical arm and a second mechanical arm. Both the first mechanical arm and the second mechanical arm are in sliding connection with the guide rail. Fasteners of the same structures are fixedly connected to the lower portion of the first mechanical arm and the lower portion of the second mechanical arm. Each fastener sequentially comprises a cylinder, a fixing block and a connecting rod from bottom to top. The sliding rail is arranged on the base and is in sliding connection with the fasteners through the connecting rods. After a component is clamped by the first mechanical arm and the second mechanical arm, a pressing device pushes the fixing blocks to press the component against the sliding rail tightly, and the two mechanical arms are fixed through frictional force between the fixing blocks and the sliding rail. By the adoption of the structure, compared with common automatic clamping devices and manual clamping devices, the clamping device does not need a fixed power source or a large operating space, and is simple, practical and applicable to various automotive body in white machining production lines.
