Abstract

The preparation method includes extracting Chinese ephedra; decocting raw materials for the first time; decocting raw materials for the second time; preparing simple syrup; mixing; filtering, and testing; filling; and sealing, packaging, and warehousing. According to the invention, syrup is prepared from extracts of Chinese medicinal materials by use of traditional Chinese medicine theory to treat infantile cough with quick action and distinct therapeutic effect. The infantile cough syrup has effects of dispelling phlegm, relieving cough, reducing fever, promoting the dispersing function of the lung, relieving asthma, and relieving sore-throat, and is used for treating fever with chills, cough, yellow sputum, shortness of breath, dry mouth, hoarse voice, swelling and pain in throat in infants due to affection by exopathogen.
