specific Embodiment approach 1

[0025] Specific Embodiment 1: The joint test device for soil expansion and frost heaving in this embodiment includes a constant temperature box 1, a low-temperature circulating bath on the top plate 11, a low-temperature circulating bath on the bottom plate 12, a sample box 9, a top plate 6, a plurality of thermistor thermometers 7, displacement Sensor 8, water supply device 2, data acquisition system 3 and main control computer 4, wherein the sample box 9 is a plexiglass cylinder, and the bottom of the incubator 1 is provided with a top plate low temperature circulating bath 11 and a bottom plate low temperature circulating bath 12. The box 9 is placed on the bottom plate 5 in the incubator. The top plate 6 is placed on the top of the sample box 9 and connected to the outlet of the top plate low-temperature circulating bath through a conduit 61. The bottom plate 5 at the bottom of the sample box is connected to the bottom plate low-temperature circulating bath through a conduit...

specific Embodiment approach 2

[0028] Embodiment 2: This embodiment differs from Embodiment 1 in that the thermistor thermometer 7 is inserted into the sample box 9 along the radial direction of the sample box 9 . Other devices are the same as in the first embodiment.

specific Embodiment approach 3

[0029] Specific embodiment three: the difference between this embodiment and specific embodiment one or two is that a plurality of thermistor thermometers 7 are inserted on the side wall of the sample box 9, and two adjacent thermistor thermometers are inserted along the side wall of the sample box 9. The spacing in the axial direction is 1 cm. Other devices are the same as those in Embodiment 1 or 2.

Abstract

The invention discloses a joint test device and method for expansion and frost heaving of a soil body, relates to the field of property tests of the soil bodies, and particularly relates to a device and method for a joint test of expansion rate and frost-heaving ratio of expansive soil, aiming at solving the problem of an inaccurate test aiming at the expansion characteristics of the traditional expansive soil. A sample box in the test device is arranged on a bottom plate of an incubator; a top plate and the bottom plate of an upper surface and a lower surface of the sample box are respectively connected with a low-temperature circulating bath; displacement sensors are arranged above the top plate; the bottom plate is also connected with a water supply device; each sensor is connected with a data collection system. The test method disclosed by the invention comprises the following steps: firstly, calculating zero-load expansion rate of a soil body sample through a change of a reading number of each displacement sensor, and then reducing the temperature of the top plate; freezing the soil body sample; and calculating the frost-heaving ratio of the soil body through the reading numbers of the displacement sensors. The frost-heaving ratio data obtained by the test is closer to that of engineering practice, and cognition on the frost heaving characteristics of the expansive soil is more accurate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of soil property testing, in particular to a device and a testing method for combined testing of expansion rate and frost heave rate of expansive soil. Background technique [0002] Expansive soil is a kind of highly plastic cohesive soil with expansive structure, multiple cracks, strong expansion and contraction and strength attenuation, and it is also a typical unsaturated soil. Expansive soil has a wide distribution range, which is more harmful to engineering construction and difficult to prevent and control. At present, the research on expansive soil has become one of the important research directions in geotechnical engineering. In recent years, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of research on expansive soil, and most of the research has focused on the expansion characteristics of soil. [0003] At present, the frost heave test methods for expansive soils at home and abroad are still using the frost ...
