The method includes the steps that main steam pressure, main steam temperature, reheat steam temperature, water feed temperature, water feed flow and fuel flow corresponding to each time period from occurrence of rapid load reducing of the generator set to restart of the generator set are collected in a historical database; according to the relation between collected data and time, a time curve and a collected data curve are respectively established; fitting is conducted on the established curves, and then a fuel flow-water feed flow curve is obtained; according to the established curves and the fit curve, a water feed flow value corresponding to a boiler is determined when the main steam temperature, the reheat steam temperature and the main steam pressure are stable at the same time and the generator set runs in a house load operation condition; in the rapid load reducing process of the generator set, the water feed flow of a water feed pump is adjusted to be in the water feed flow value.
