A method, base station and coordinator for base station configuration are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. The method includes that: base stations are divided into clusters by a coordinator to determine at least one cell cluster; antenna configuration parameters of all the base stations in the cell cluster are sent to each base station in the cell cluster; the respective utility function value and the respective updated antenna configuration parameters sent by each base station in the cell cluster are received; when the difference between the maximum and the minimum of the utility function values of the base stations in the cell cluster is greater than a threshold, the updated antenna configuration parameters of all the base stations in the cell cluster are sent to each base station in the cell cluster, in order to enable each base station in the cell cluster to iteratively compute the utility function according to the updated antenna configuration parameters of all the base stations in the cell cluster until the difference between the maximum and the minimum of the utility function values of the base stations in the cell cluster is less than or equal to the threshold; final antenna configuration parameters of each base station in the cell cluster are determined according to the result of the iterative computation and sent to each base station of the cell cluster so that each base station in the cell cluster can perform the configuration.
