Abstract

Provided is a road surface management system whereby the state of a road surface likely to cause damage to a dump truck can be sensed, and the position of the road surface can be displayed. When the travel speed of a dump truck (2) detected by a speed sensor (12) is equal to or greater than a preset threshold, a server (4) of an administrative bureau (3) determines that the dump truck (2) is traveling. With each position of the traveling dump truck (2), a determination is made as to whether or not the pressures of suspensions (18L, 18R, 19L, 19R) detected by pressure sensors (20A-20D) are respectively within corresponding set reference ranges. When it is determined that any one pressure of the four suspensions (18L, 18R, 19L, 19R) is outside of the reference range and the remaining three are within the reference ranges, the road surface in the corresponding position of the dump truck (2) is determined to be poor.
