Abstract

The invention provides a configurable on-chip low dropout linear regulator which comprises a reference selecting circuit, a pre-regulator which is connected with the reference selecting circuit, and a main regulator which is connected with the pre-regulator. The reference selecting circuit is used for selecting one circuit of input reference voltage from multiple circuits of input reference voltages to be outputted to the pre-regulator. The pre-regulator is used for conducting voltage stabilization and trimming on the reference voltage, and outputting a first voltage to the main regulator. The main regulator is used for conducting voltage stabilization and trimming on the first voltage to obtain a second voltage and then output the second voltage. According to the configurable on-chip low dropout linear regulator, the in-chip or out-chip reference voltages are selected through the reference selecting circuit, the output voltages are stabilized through the pre-regulator and the main regulator, a plurality of trimming points in the pre-regulator and the main regulator are used for flexibly trimming the output voltages, the success rate of tape-out of a system chip can be improved, and meanwhile the high performance demand of the system chip is met.
