Abstract

The invention discloses a power machine (100), and a drive system (200) therefor, and a method of controlling the displacement of a hydraulic drive motor (220; 350). The drive system includes a drive pump (210) capable of providing a hydraulic power output, and a drive motor (220; 350) operatively connected to the drive pump for receiving the hydraulic power output from the drive pump. A drive motor (220; 350) has an operating displacement variable between a minimum displacement and a maximum displacement, and the drive motor provides rotation of the output member (222). A shift actuator (224) is operatively connected to the drive motor, and the shift actuator is configured to vary the displacement of the drive motor between a minimum displacement and a maximum displacement. A controller (250) controls the shift actuator to cause the drive motor to provide a continuously variable displacement between a minimum displacement and a maximum displacement.
