The catalyst is prepared by using an ion exchange method, the preparation method is simple, and the solid acid catalyst is good in stability, environment-friendly, free of pollution and less in corrosion on equipment, and the catalyst for catalytically converting glucose to prepare methyl levulinate is good in catalytic activity, high in selectivity, easy to be separated and recovered from reactants, recyclable and good in cycling stability, and can be used for fully catalytically converting glucose.
