The surge current resisting device of the household appliance includes charging capacitors, of which positive electrodes are connected with a positive electrode of a power supply; a switch, which comprises a first connecting end connected with a negative electrode of the charging capacitor, a second connecting end connected with a negative electrode of the power supply, and a control end; a controller, which is connected with the control end and used for controlling the switch so as to realize the charging cycle of multiple charging capacitors and supply power to the household appliance after the charging voltage of the charging capacitor reaches a preset voltage threshold, wherein every charging cycle includes a charging time when a closing switch charges the charging capacitor until the charging current flowing through the charging capacitor is less than or equal to the preset current threshold value and a disconnection time when the following breaking switch stops charging the charging capacitor. The invention further provides a surge current resisting method and a household appliance. Through the control switch, the surge current resisting device as a good embodiment of the invention is able to prevent the charging capacitor from generating the charging surge current in the process of charging, and avoid overcurrent damage.
