The invention provides a network management method and device based on SaaS (software as a service). The method is applied to a cloud portal of a data center and the data center comprises the cloud portal and at least one network management system. The method comprises the following steps: receiving an access request sent by tenant equipment, wherein the access request carries an equipment identifier of the tenant equipment; querying tenant information corresponding to the equipment identifier of the tenant equipment in a tenant information database and an address identifier of a corresponding management data center; if confirming that the management data center is not a local data center according to the address identifier of the management data center, redirecting the access request to the management data center, thereby enabling the management data center to manage network data of the tenant equipment. Therefore, the method can effectively utilize resources of each data center and provide unified management data for tenants, and improves the management efficiency.
