Benefits of technology

This patented technical effect of this patents relates to improving the durability and stability of run flat tires used on vehicles due to their improved elongation behavior compared to regular tires while maintaining excellent handling qualities like steering ability and corner holding capacity. These improvements include adding special materials called carboxylic acid esters (CA) instead of traditional tie rubbers, increasing specific bondings between polymer chains within the rubbing layer, reducing friction when rotating, decreasing moisture absorption, lower temperatures during testing, and optimally utilizing different types of chemical substances. Additionally, these modifications involve changing certain components along the process route, resulting in better overall quality control measures over the manufacturing processes.

Problems solved by technology

This patented describes different ways to enhance the durable power capacity and ride comfort level of torsheets without compromising their functionality over longer periods of operation. One way involves adding supporting rubbers called "self-supported," where each corner of one wheel's surface contacts another wheel instead of just one wheel itself. Another method includes filling them within the tube frame of the auto body's own wheels themselves. These methods aim to achieve both good balance and long-term stability of these tires even if some were previously designed only for specific functions like steering and braking systems.

Embodiment Construction

[0029] The present invention will be further described in conjunction with embodiment:

[0030] A rubber composition used for the sidewall of a car run-flat tire, characterized in that the components of the raw materials are composed as follows in parts by weight:

[0031] 40.0-60.0 parts of natural rubber, 40.0-60.0 parts of butadiene rubber, 50.0-80.0 parts of carbon black, 1.0-5.0 parts of softener, 1.0-5.0 parts of tackifying resin, 1.0-3.0 parts of anti-aging agent, 2.0-5.0 parts of zinc oxide 1.0-3.0 parts of stearic acid, 2.0-5.0 parts of sulfur, 2.0-4.0 parts of accelerator, 1.0-3.0 parts of anti-reversion agent.

[0032] The rubber component of the present invention comprises natural rubber (NR) and polybutadiene rubber with a cis-1,4-polybutadiene content higher than 96%, and is polymerized by a catalyst system mainly composed of rare earth metal neodymium (Nd- BR).

[0033] The amount of NR in the rubber composition should not be too small, preferably 40-60 parts ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a rubber composition for run-flat tire sidewall part of a car. The rubber composition is characterized by consisting of the following raw material components in parts by weight: 40.0-60.0 parts of natural rubber, 40.0-60.0 parts of butadiene rubber, 50.0-80.0 parts of carbon black, 1.0-5.0 parts of a softening agent, 1.0-5.0 parts of tackifying resin, 1.0-3.0 parts of an anti-aging agent, 2.0-5.0 parts of zinc oxide, 1.0-3.0 parts of stearic acid, 2.0-5.0 parts of sulfur, 2.0-4.0 parts of an accelerant and 1.0-3.0 parts of an anti-reversion agent. The formula of the supporting adhesive takes the requirement on three performances into consideration, namely high hardness, low themogenesis and good flexibility, so that the supporting adhesive of which hardness is 75-80, 100% stretching modulus is 6-9MPa and resilience is 58-68 is obtained; therefore, the safety and the availability (travelability) of the tire under a run-flat state are guaranteed, and the driving safety of the car under the run-flat state of the tire is greatly improved.
