Abstract

The invention provides a novel method and design which are used for enabling an optical signal from a lens array to be coupled to a plugging-type optical fiber array assembly with a locking function. An optical signal transmitted by a VCSEL (vertical-cavity surface emitting laser) on a PCB (printed circuit board) is coupled to an optical coupling lens array, and then is coupled to the optical fiber array assembly parallel to the PCB. The plugging-type locking device provides a method used for the cooperation and locking of the lens array and the optical fiber array assembly, thereby achieving the good coupling and locking between the optical fiber array assembly and the lens array.
