Abstract

The invention relates to a P2P (peer-to-peer) downloading algorithm based on blocking switching servers, comprising: firstly calculating average bandwidths of node servers in a network, determining blocking conditions, connecting users and the node servers with low performance to blocking, and continuously selecting node servers with large bearing mean values for connection, i.e., node servers with higher connection performance, thereby increasing the downloading efficiency of a client. The method reduces the normalization standard difference of a whole network; the reduction of the normalization standard difference represents decrease of bandwidth fluctuation of a whole overlay network, and thereby the method can more accurately predicts residual time of downloading. User average downloading time is gradually reduced with the reduction of the normalization standard difference of a whole overlay network. Simulation experiments prove that under uncompetitive environment, the average performance of the algorithm is increased to be 113% of a traditional algorithm; and under competitive environments, the average performance of the algorithm is increased by only 1%, but the pre-estimation accuracy of downloading time is increased by 44%.
