[0029] The present invention provides a seal assembly for a track link joint assembly of a chassis of a track-type machine. Examples of such machines include those used in construction, mining, forestry and other similar industries. The seal assembly (101, 102) may be incorporated into a track joint assembly (84) of a chassis (32) of a track-type machine (30). The track joint assembly (84) may have a first member (110) pivotable relative to its second member (97) about an axis of rotation. The first member (110) includes a seal member engaging surface (180) at least partially defining a seal cavity (125) extending axially about the axis of rotation and in which the seal assembly (101, 102) is disposed. The seal assembly (101, 102) may include a thrust ring (204, 404) and a seal member (202, 402) mounted to the thrust ring (204, 404).
