Abstract

The invention provides a five-eye panoramic imaging system and a five-eye panoramic imaging method corresponding to the imaging system. The five-eye panoramic imaging system comprises a camera system, a circuit system which is connected with the camera system, and a mechanical system which is connected with the camera system and the circuit system. The camera system comprises five wide-angle lenses and five cameras which are connected with five wide-angle lenses in a one to one corresponding manner. A lens in five wide-angle lenses is arranged on a side of a protective casing, wherein the side is vertically upward. The remaining four wide-angle lenses are respectively arranged on four sides of the periphery of the protective casing. The circuit system comprises a camera control subsystem and an image pre-processing subsystem. The camera control subsystem synchronously controls five cameras by sending a control signal. The image pre-processing subsystem is connected with the camera system, and is used for processing images shot by five cameras. According to the five-eye panoramic imaging system and method, which are provided by the invention, the problems of high imaging system cost and poor imaging instantaneity in the prior art can be solved.
