Abstract

The invention provides a method for realizing website addressing by using a shortcut domain name in a private network, relating to the technical field of providing a domain name resolution service of shortcut domain name query in the private network. A technical problem is solved such that a non-full-name domain without a suffix (such as KNET) can be normally identified by a browser and visited without adding any plug-in software to a client. The method is characterized in that the first link DNS resolution of internet access is taken as a breakthrough, through the changing the software of a private network root DNS server and carrying out special configuration, the identification of the shortcut domain name is solved.
