Abstract

The invention provides methods supporting UE connection control and devices. UE or an eNB indicates a device in a core network that the UE is conducting a ProSe (proximity-based service), and the device in the core network further decides whether or not to release connection of the UE according to the ProSe being conducted by the UE when deciding to release UE connection.
