Abstract

The invention discloses a silicon-based liquid crystal display device, comprising a silicon substrate, a color filtering layer, a first alignment layer, a second alignment layer, and a liquid crystal layer. The silicon substrate is provided with a plurality of pixels configured in a matrix. Each pixel has an inclination angle between 0 DEG to 90 DEG, and each pixel comprises a pixel electrode. The color filtering layer is on the pixel electrodes. The color filtering layer is provided with a plurality of color filtering units. Each color filtering unit is corresponding to each pixel electrode. The first alignment layer is on the color filtering layer. The second alignment layer is opposite to the first alignment layer. The liquid crystal layer is between the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer.
