The bump detection method comprises the following steps: (1) mounting a vibration acceleration sensor on a box body of the driving axle; mounting a rotary speed pulse sensor at the input end of the driving axle; (2) acquiring a vibration acceleration signal and acquiring an output rotary speed pulse signal; (3) inputting the acquired rotary speed pulse signal of the input end and the vibration acceleration signal into a computer; and (4) converting a vibration-time signal to a vibration-angle position signal by the computer according to the acquired rotary speed pulse signal, and positioning defect parts of the driving axle to be detected by utilizing changes of the rotary vibration signal of the main speed-reducing gear of the driving axle to be detected, and the position information of a corresponding rotary angle.
