Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to the audio object processing, discloses a method for processing audio contents. The audio contents comprise at least one audio object of a multichannel format. The method comprises following steps: generating metadata associated with the audio object, wherein the metadata comprise at least one of the estimated track of the audio object and the estimated perception magnitude of the audio object, the perception magnitude is the area perceived by the phantoms of the audio object generated by at least two transducers. The invention also discloses a corresponding system and a computer program product.
