Abstract

The invention relates to an SDI signal jitter calibration method and system. The method comprises the following steps: a frequency modulation signal used for simulating an SDI signal is obtained, an amplitude ratio between a first frequency component and a second frequency component of the frequency modulation signal is obtained, a jitter value corresponding to the amplitude ratio is found on a preset SDI signal calibration parameter list, the jitter value is compared with a jitter value measured via a video signal measuring instrument, and therefore the video signal measuring instrument can be calibrated, wherein the SDI signal calibration parameter list includes the jitter value to be calibrated and the corresponding amplitude ratio between the first frequency component and the second frequency component. The SDI signal jitter calibration method and system solve the problem that no jitter value calibration spot with a jitter value less than 1UI can be obtained via a conventional Bessel zero method. Via the SDI signal jitter calibration method and system, any jitter value calibration spot can be obtained, jitter values less than 1UI measured by a video signal test device can be calibrated, and therefore calibration of SDI signal jitter values is realized.
