Embodiment Construction
[0029] figure 1 An exemplary embodiment of an active differential 1 for the controlled distribution of the drive torque generated by the drive motor to the two output shafts 3 , 4 is shown. The coupling of the drive motor 2 and the drive shaft to the output shafts 3 , 4 takes place via the planetary gear 5 of the differential 1 . In addition to the planetary gear 5 , the differential 1 includes a distribution motor 6 , wherein the distribution of the drive torque to the output shafts 3 , 4 depends on the rotational torque exerted by the distribution motor 6 . The distributing motor 6 is coupled here via a distributing shaft to a clutch 7 , which in turn is coupled to a planetary gear 5 . When the distributing shaft is completely decoupled from the planetary drive 5 via the clutch mechanism 7, the differential 1 behaves like a non-locking differential, so that the rotational torque generated by the drive motor 2 is evenly distributed to the output shaft 3 and 4 on. If the di...

Abstract
The invention relates to an active differential for distributing a torque generated by a drive motor (6, 13, 27) to two output shafts (3, 4, 10, 11) in a controlled manner, the active differential comprising a planetary transmission (5, 12) for coupling the output shafts (3, 4, 10, 11) to a driveshaft of the drive motor (6, 13, 27) and a distributor shaft (19) of a distributor motor (6, 13). The distribution of the torque to the driveshafts (3, 4, 10, 11) is dependent on a torque exerted by the distributor engine (6, 13, 27), and the distributor shaft (19) and the planetary transmission (5, 12) are coupled by a clutch device (7, 14, 17) which transmits a torque from the planetary transmission (5, 12) to the distributor shaft (19) exclusively when the difference between the rotational speeds of the output shafts (3, 4, 10, 11) exceeds a specified threshold and when a connection condition dependent on an operating state of the distributor engine is satisfied.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to an active differential for controlled distribution of drive torque generated by a drive motor to two output shafts, the active differential comprising a drive shaft for connecting the output shaft to the drive motor and a distribution motor A planetary gear coupled to the distribution shaft, wherein the distribution of the drive torque to the output shaft is related to the rotational torque applied by the distribution motor. Background technique [0002] Active differentials are used to distribute the drive torque to several, in particular two output shafts. The differential here achieves that the two output shafts have different rotational speeds. If the differential is operated without an additional distribution motor or with complete or partial locking of the differential, the same rotational torque is transmitted to both output shafts. An active intervention in the differential that causes a change in the distribution of ...
